
Description:
*Use math to solve problems in business, engineering, and science *Research ways to use math in new ways
Duties:
• Analyze data using math for reports
• Look at relationships between old math rules and new ones
• Create special ways to code secret information for the military or police
• Teach at colleges and universities
Where and When:
• Some may work for the government
• NASA
• Colleges and Universities
• Military
• Businesses and Engineering companies
• Many may work during the day Monday through Friday.
• Some may work at night or on the weekends to finish projects and meet deadlines.

• Computers
• Graphing Calculators
• Flash Drives
• Laptop Computers
• Math and Science Software Programs
• Graphics Software (Photoshop)
• Word Processing Software
• Many work with engineers, scientists, and business people
• Others may work with college students and professors
Education and Training:
• Most have a Doctoral or Professional Degree (At least 8 years of College)
• Some have a Master's Degree (At least 6 years of College)
