
Description:
-Test computer network systems to make sure they are working well. -May supervise computer programmers.
Duties:
-Keep files current on the network.-Test computer machines and software to make sure they are working well.-Help users to solve computer problems.-Train others how to use equipment.-Connect printers, modems, scanners, and other equipment to computers.
Where and When:
-Most work in office buildings.-Some may visit other offices to fix computer problems.-Many may work a regular day from 8am-5pm.-Some may work at night and on the weekends.

-Computers -Cables -Wires -Printers -Scanners -Modems -Internet -Email
Education and Training:
-Most require some college classes, but no degree.-Some require a bachelor's degree (4 years).-Few require an associate's degree (2 years).
