Description:
Aircraft assemblers assemble airplanes, space vehicles, or missiles. They connect tails, wings, landing gear, control equipment and other parts together.
Duties:
• Assemble, Align, fit, install, and connect parts of aircraft, using layout tools, hand tools, power tools, and fasteners.
• Read blueprints or drafts.
• Cut, trim, file, bend and smooth parts, and make sure they fit.
• Adjust, repair or replace parts.
• Test parts or assemblies.
Where and When:
They usually work in team in big plants of aircraft factories.
