
Description:
Chemical Equipment Operators control chemical changes in big machines.
Duties:
• Operate chemical equipment.
• Monitor equipment.
• Adjust temperature, pressure, feed, flow and so on.
• Record data.
• Patrol work areas.
• Maintain equipment.
• Test product samples.
Where and When:
• They usually work near the big noisy machines. Could be indoors or outdoors.
• Could work all shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Education and Training:
• High school diploma or some vocational training.
• A few months to one year of working with experienced workers.
