
Description:
Commercial and industrial designers develop and design products, such as cars, home appliances, and toys. They use art, business, and engineering knowledge in their design.
Duties:
• Draw sketches or blueprints.
• Talk with clients, sales department and engineers.
• Make models.
• Choose materials for the products.
• Investigate the qualities, safety, cost and market of the products.
Where and When:
• They usually work full time in offices.
• Sometimes they meet clients in evenings or on weekends.
