
Description:
Green Marketers create ways to sell items that are "green" or good for the earth.
Duties:
• Make signs and symbols to put on recycled or green items that are good for the earth.
• Go to meetings to learn more about ways to conserve energy and stop pollution
• Talk to people to find ways to save energy
• Make ads, signs, or commercials to help people learn about ways to protect the earth.
Where and When:
Green marketers work in offices and visit companies. They may travel to show others new items to conserve energy. They may also work from the office or home to make new websites or do research. Most will work a 40 hour week Monday -Friday. Some may work nights or on the weekends going to conferences and visiting companies.

Education and Training:
Most have a college degree (4 year) with some work in sales or conservation jobs. To find work in this area, it is good to have education or experience in advertising, sales, and working with people.
