• iTransition - a free online transition curriculum to help students who are deaf or hard of hearing prepare for life after high school (a career development curriculum targeting the unique needs of the hearing impaired).
• Virginia Department for the Blind and Visually Impaired (DBVI) - There are several regional offices of DBVI that offer a wide range of services to help maximize student school success, support adult independent living, and provide job opportunities and training. They also have resource libraries and technology services.
• Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services Center, Inc. (DHHSC) – Have the mission of improving the quality of life for the deaf, hard of hearing, and deaf blind. In addition, the group tries to educate the general public about community needs.
